2012 A New Year and Fresh Start

Well we've officially entered 2012 and I've hit a milestone in my life...turning 30! Maybe it's being a new mom or maybe it's turning the big 3-0, but I feel like I need to make some changes. It's because of this I've decided one way to help me feel better about myself is to set some goals for my life, starting with the coming year. And hopefully these goals will become patterns for Everyday Life!

I've broken my goals out into 2 categories - Goals for 2012 and Goals I set for each month. Hopefully breaking them out will make them a little easier to achieve. So here we go...

2012 Goals:
1. Create a blog (check)
2. Update Blog at least once per month
3. Start going to church
4. Finish paying off our credit cards
5. Have at least one date night per month with the hubby
6. Read at least one book per month
7. Keep up on housework
8. Be a good mom and good wife
9. Run in the Indianapolis Mini Marathon (okay well maybe run/walk)
10. Try to eat less processed food and more home cookin'!

January Goals:
1. Read Brain Rules for Baby
2. Workout at least 3 times per week
3. Continue to look for a church and attend 2 services
4. Schedule family pics/6 month pics for little man
5. Make dinner at least 3 times per week with little to no processed food

I plan on checking in at the end of each month to see how I'm doing and to set my goals for the next month.

Gotta start somewhere

I'm new to the blogging world, but thanks to the wonderful world of Pinterest and becoming a new mom, I've been reading and subscribing to so many blogs that I thought - hey I can do that. I have so many ideas of my own as well as many life experiences I would like to share, that what better way to get them out there than with a blog. I don't plan on focusing on one topic I want to be able to share new recipes, DIY projects, book reviews, travel, family fun and so much more...pretty much a little of This and That and Everyday Life. I'm so excited to join the blogging community, so here it goes - I hope you enjoy!
